This jam is made from sun-ripened apricots grown in Gilgit-Baltistan, the land famous for its apricots. It is golden, thick and full of fruity flavour with a gentle tang. Spread it on fresh bread, paratha or toast, stir it into yoghurt and porridge, or use it as a filling for cakes, tarts and biscuits.
